What You will be Doing:
- Coordinating and taking ownership of the guest journey once the reservation is confirmed
- Anticipating guest needs by offering additional Concierge services in advance of arrival, enhancing the guest stay and contributing to top line revenue
- Responding to email and telephone enquiries
- Liaising with other teams on joint initiatives and to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Managing concierge charges and credit card pre-authorizations during guest stay
- Assisting with ad hoc guest requests
- Duties and tasks may change as required by operations or to suit business needs
Requirements:
- Valid G license with reliable transportation, as travel is required for this position – use of a company vehicle will be provided
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Jayne’s Luxury Rentals is seeking professional, organized, seasonal staff, to assist in greeting and managing our cottage rental guests this summer. The Cottage Manager position involves the following:
What You will be Doing:
- Assisting Account Managers in ensuring that standards and expectations for guests and owners are exceeded by troubleshooting any issues that arise during the rental
- Assisting with assigned property audits; pre-inspections and post-inspections as per company guidelines
- Communicating, as needed, with owners and guests, via phone, text and email regarding property specific questions for upcoming reservations as well as during the guest’s stay
- Familiarizing yourself with reserved properties
- Attending weekly Account Manager meetings at the Jayne’s Port Carling office to review upcoming reservations
- Answering phone, text message and email inquiries daily from existing and upcoming guests. You may be required to visit property to assist with troubleshooting of electronics, etc. Liaise with team to facilitate maintenance/repair/solutions
- Performing other duties as assigned
The Skills and Requirements:
- We are looking for local residents and/or summer cottagers who are familiar with the Muskoka area, as well as its various offerings, amenities and events
- Ability to communicate in a positive, professional, empathetic and “customer-centric” manner in person, over the phone, by email or text message
- Embrace and adopt change in a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment
- Listen attentively and ask probing questions to clarify the problem/concern at hand
- Strong computer and mobile application skills
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in the accommodation/hospitality industry is an asset
Essentials:
- Valid G license with reliable transportation, as travel is required for this position. Rental cars provided for work on most occasions. When not available, you will be compensated

What You’ll be Doing:
Working closely with the Concierge, Property and Operations teams to support and assist as
necessary including:
• Scheduling property appointments for the team – this may include corresponding with
owners and or trades
• Track all damage reports
• Filing necessary documentation
• Maintain fleet of vehicles
• Manage key system
• Respond to email and telephone enquiries
• Coordinate and take ownership of the guest journey once a reservation is confirmed
• Anticipate needs by offering additional Concierge services in advance of arrival,
enhancing the guest stay and contributing to revenue
• Liaise with other teams on joint initiatives
• Coordinate Concierge requests
• Monitor inventory and coordinate movement of rental items such as kayaks, stand up
paddle boards and other supplementary items

• Updating guest profiles with personal details as discovered
• Duties and tasks may change as required by operations or to suit business needs
